Spartan A.K.A. SHC (Spartan Health Club) Founder and Managing Director, Mickey Haughton-James opened its doors June 30, 1976, located in Kingston, Jamaica. SHC is recognized as one of the Caribbean’s world-class gym and fitness facilities for producing national and international world-class athletes, fitness champions, body builders, Miss World contenders as well as health fit-nut enthusiasts. SHC closed their doors the end of September of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Mickey decided to setup a “mini” Spartan in the apartment complex where he resides and will share with other residents.
